Hexxagon Mini-Playthrough

Hexxagon Mini-Playthrough

Hexxagon is an old MS DOS game made in 1992-93, according to the game’s splash screen, that I used to play sometimes when I was younger to fight boredom. Now I play it for nostalgia. The rules of Hexxagon are simple. First, you’ll choose between the red ruby or the white marble. then the objective is to fill the board with more of your pieces than your opponent before all the cells on the board are filled. You can do this by copying your pieces to nearby cells to create more pieces and jumping cells, usually done to land beside and convert the opponent’s pieces to yours. In the lower-right corner there’s a counter to track who’s winning. You can play Hexxagon for free at PlayDOSgames.com or DOSGamesArchive.com. You can also download the game from either site to play in the DOS Box emulator like I’m doing here on Linux Korora. I hope you enjoyed this video and background music, all by me, Jt Spratley at Go Live Lively
