Canada Games 2017: Male and Female Mountain Bike Relay

Arie Robinson is a super fast starter so
we decided to put him first to try keep in contention and then myself I was just
trying to close the gap for our super strong young rider Carson Thompson who
we had last oh yeah definitely I think we exceeded them a little bit because
really know what we do coming in to it especially was like the heat on our last
race here and then today with the wind we didn’t really know how everybody
would play out but definitely worked well you got the Eliminator on Thursday and
trying to get ready for that I think we’re going to pre ride tomorrow and
then cheer on everybody else. We sent Holden out first to try and
stay closer at least with Quebec and Ontario and he pulled through really
good and then I went and just tried to get on Quebec right away and
kind of got a bit of a gap but then we had our strongest guy go last which is
Sean and he really pulled through and our yeah pretty much like
that’s a progressively faster was the goal pretty fast course and there’s lots
of little features I couldn’t mess you up its feet especially at speed so
you’re just relying into these like two little jobs and not done is he being
like really hard and come gotta you gotta be really on and all the time
it’s always on who the climbs are short and the sensor show it it’s noise on more
effort I think it’s pretty unreal I mean like yeah two days ago and the ex-ceo
the boys didn’t have like the best days and I think it’s really good
to come around today and just smash it for a good day I think it’s really cool
that we were able to win a gold as a as a team like just means a lot more and we
all kind of grew up in the same town knew each other for a long time trained
together so that’s really special to a bring it home.
